Sift Research is an independent, third-party research organization commissioned by a major automotive manufacturer to collect consumer opinions. Automotive manufacturers regularly conduct research with vehicle owners to help guide future vehicle development. Your feedback represents the voices of thousands of other owners, so your opinions are valuable and will be used to help build the next generation of vehicles.
We have two research studies for which we are looking for qualified participants. We need to ask some questions to see if you match our respondent profile. Each study has a unique qualifying survey so make sure to complete the qualifying survey for each of the studies which interests you.
Study #2:
February 5-6, 2026 in Torrance, CA.
$225 total compensation - $200 for participating in the 2-hour in-person survey and $25 for completing a 10-minute online pre-survey.
In the in-person survey, you would evaluate several display vehicles via a survey on a tablet computer, telling us what you like and dislike about each vehicle. One of these vehicles is confidential and has not been released to the public so your opinions will help shape the ultimate design and marketing of this vehicle. In the survey, you would also provide feedback about your current vehicle and future vehicle needs so that we understand more about you, your driving habits, and what you look for in a vehicle.
The survey is self-administered; meaning, we hand you the tablet computer, and the survey will instruct you what to do.

Study #1:
January 27-30, 2026 in Irvine, CA (near the Irvine Spectrum).
$200 for participating in an approximately 90-minute, one-on-one discussion with one of our moderators.
You would evaluate several features and concepts via a Virtual Reality (VR) headset, as our moderator asks questions about what you like and dislike.
If you have ever worn a VR headset and experienced dizziness or nausea, this study is not for you.
